InterCall is a division of West Corporation and is a leading provider of outsourced communication solutions to many of the world’s largest companies, organizations and governments. InterCall employs more than 400 direct sales representatives who are located in North America and use Salesforce.com as their CRM platform.
Prior to adopting Sertifi’s eSignature solution, the company faxed or mailed contracts to customers via FedEx and waited for customers to sign and return contracts via mail or fax. Contracts took three to 10 days to be signed, countersigned and completed.
The Solution:
Sertifi provided InterCall with Sertifi eSign, a pre-built integration that enables organizations to improve the sales delivery, execution and tracking process in real-time from within Salesforce.com. Contracts are sent directly from the opportunity inside Salesforce.com, where managers and sales reps can view when the contract has been received, signed and countersigned.
The ROI:
Switching to this solution reduced the length of time it takes InterCall sales representatives to get a contract signed by almost 50 percent. The company estimates that Sertifi’s electronic signature solution saves about $9,000 per month in paper and FedEx shipping costs!

Do home health care professionals spend more time filling out paperwork than working with their patients? According to many home health care agencies, the answer is “YES!” It’s evident that the home health care industry is burdened by excessive paperwork. After speaking with many clients, we came across four major setbacks when it comes to signing documents manually.
Excessive paperwork setbacks within the home health care industry:
- Extra workload- physicians are constantly frustrated by having to sign countless documents and sometimes believe the agency (not Medicare/Medicaid) is responsible for the additional paperwork. Worker retention rates and job referrals could drop as a result of dissatisfaction.
- Time wasted- time is spent chasing paper documents instead of professionals spending time on patient-focused activities.
- Very slow document processing- orders sent via fax or courier tend to experience lag in turnaround time.
- Expensive Costs- manually capturing signatures on documents is thought to cost between $10-$12 per document!
Sertifi’s Paperless Solution
We’re spreading the word about our time-saving, hard copy document-reducing options for several required documents, including CMS Form 485 and face-to-face certifications, which are two forms that slow a home health agency’s ability to be paid quickly by Medicare and Medicaid.
Costs are reduced to about $3 per document by implementing an esignature solution. Our software tracks documents and enables users to know where they are in the signature process. They also can send reminders for documents that haven’t been signed. Resolving this paperwork process electronically also saves time otherwise spent sending items via the postal service, courier or fax machine.

Sertifi, the leading esignature solution provider, reassures potential users that electronic signature software is valid and easy to use by putting an end to some of the common esignature myths.
Many organizations have successfully adopted the use of electronic signatures, which allows them to sign documents faster.
However, some people are still hesitant to accept the idea that electronic signatures are as authentic as ink signatures. Many companies that offer esignature software such as DocuSign, EchoSign, and RightSignature face this issue. That misconception prompted Sertifi, a leader in the esignature industry, to set the record straight on some of the popular myths regarding esignatures. Here are our top four esignature myths:
- Myth: An esignature is not legal in all 50 states
Fact: ESIGN is a national legislation which was approved by Congress in 2000 and it replaces state regulations. - Myth: Special software is required
Fact: There are no hardware or software requirements to capture an electronic signature. To sign an electronic document with Sertifi, simply upload a document and sign using a mouse or your finger. The software comes into play when a company wishes to use Sertifi to send, receive and track contracts and other documents. - Myth: To use the electronic signature software, users must have some technological background
Fact: Anyone can sign a document electronically, regardless of their technological expertise. - Myth: It’s too expensive
Fact: Sertifi allows users to pay based on usage.
“There are no setup costs or annual fees,” said John Stojka, co-founder of the esignature solution company. “We believe our system is the easiest esignature system to use. It is used in the construction, medical, hospitality, and technology industries.”
Sertifi’s user base includes plumbers, builders, truckers, and small businesses, as well as Fortune 500 companies. For more information, please sign up for our demo. We look forward to discussing how our esign solution can benefit your business and help you close deals faster.

We’re changing the way businesses operate by providing them with an esignature solution!
Our customer base continues to grow and more businesses are seeing the advantages of electronic signatures, which recently prompted them to identify five major industries that have successfully adopted and benefit from using an electronic signature solution:
- Public school systems- Sertifi’s electronic signatures help maintain essential Time and Effort Certifications of the federal Title I program. Electronic signatures through Sertifi also eliminate hundreds of work hours and establish a system for document delivery history.
- Health care- Esignatures save valuable time otherwise spent obtaining doctors’ signatures and then printing and faxing important information. Sertifi’s electronic sign
ature software provides a quick return on investment and reduces overhead costs caused by the paperwork process. - National home builders- the esignature software enables subcontractors to sign documents such as lien waivers. Some builders have reported that the software does the work of two employees by streamlining time-consuming contract processes.
- Hospitality- electronic signatures substitute the costly paper process, allowing hotels to adhere to their ongoing efforts to “go green” by reducing the paper stream.
- Insurance- Electronic signatures are legally binding, assuring a signature on an online application is legitimate.
We offer an appropriate solution for various markets. “Working with clients who have such specific needs is what the company is all about,” said John Stojka, Sertifi’s co-founder.

Have you looked at the gas prices that U.S. consumers are paying at the pump? As of today, it sits at more than $5.00 per gallon it most states including Florida, California and New York. What does this mean for your overnight bills including Fedex and UPS? They are going up, again.
So what options do you have? Well, more and more companies that have been using overnight delivery services for sending document for signature are now using electronic signatures. They do this because using a service like Sertifi is a lot cheaper, it is faster, and of course, it is much more environmentally responsible. Not only is overnighting documents expensive, it is really bad for the environment.
Why use electronic signatures ( eSignature )?
Let’s compare overnight to Sertifi:
1. Sertifi does not require fuel
2. No paper needed
3. It gets to your customers instantaneously
4. It is more secure
February 15th 2012
Electronic signature solutions are still in the “early market” being used by 3-5% of all organizations. However, we at Sertifi are experienced a 300% growth rate in 2011 which could bring esignature usage to 15% of all organizations by the end of 2012. If you are still interested in esignatures here are some of the benefits you will experience:
- Close Business Faster- Signing documents electronically saves time. Saved time means deals get closed more quickly. An electronic signature solution is a simple alternative to the old-fashioned procedure of printing, signing, scanning, and faxing or mailing, which can eat up valuable time that could be better spent on more productive activities.
- Security-Signing an electronic document requires signer authentication, which reduces the risk of forgery and assures the validity of electronically-signed documents.
- Reduced office overhead costs- Electronic signatures eliminate the need for paper and a hardcopy filing system, which significantly reduces office costs in terms of supplies and employee hours spent handling documents

February 1st 2012 – There are so many applications for electronic signatures and it continually amazes us how many documents are actually being signed everyday. We recently began working with one of the largest home builder in the country and did a release on on their application. Electronic signature application seem to be growing every month as the fax machine seems to be on its way out. Release is here : Sertifi Electronic Signature Software
How does a company avoid having to hire two additional full-time employees to process waivers? For one national home builder, the answer was electronic signature software. This national builder needed a streamlined method for getting subcontractors to sign lien waivers. In November, they began using an electronic signature solution by Sertifi ( www.sertifi.com ) .“We wanted to assure subcontractors that there was a third party handling this,” a representative for the builder said. “We wanted there to be no accusations of someone having signed someone else’s documents on their behalf.”
Laws differ among states, and Sertifi provided one form waiver that met requirements in every state this builder provides services. The software enabled the company to get 2,000 waivers signed via electronic signatures in the first three weeks. The company had no system in place prior to using the esignature solutions software. Representatives just knew a process was needed. “When you see it all come together and it all works, you feel like you just landed on the moon,” the representative said. The next step is an automated process where once waivers are signed, checks are cut, rather than staff manually cutting checks.
“It’s a great system,” the representative said. “You’re talking about software that basically has saved us two full-time people thanks to automation.”
